Seymour's Window Washing LLC is a window cleaning company in Boise, Idaho. This page covers this website. It is short because the site does not collect much.
What we collect
What you give us. When you send the quote form we receive:
- your name and phone number, which the form requires
- your email address and the address of the property, if you add them
- anything you type in the message box
If you call, text or email us instead, we have whatever you tell us that way.
What is recorded with the form. When the form is sent we also record the date and time, the page it was sent from, and the internet address (IP address) it came from. That is our record of your request and of your agreement to be contacted, and it lets us limit abuse of the form.
What we use it for
- working out a quote for your home
- contacting you about that quote by phone, text or email
- scheduling and carrying out the work if you book
- keeping ordinary business records
Text messages
The quote form has a box to check that says: "By providing my phone number, I agree to receive text and other messages from the business." Checking it is how you agree to hear from us by text.
- Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. You can always call instead.
- Message frequency varies with where you are in the quote and scheduling process.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your phone plan.
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call us.
- We do not sell your mobile number, and we do not share it or your agreement to receive texts with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies whose software we run the business on, so they can do that job for us:
- the customer management software that receives the quote form and sends our calls, texts and emails
- the scheduling software we use to book and carry out jobs
- the company that hosts this website, which handles every request to the site, including IP addresses, in order to serve it and keep it secure
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: which pages get visited, roughly where visitors are, and what kind of device they are on. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell one visit from another. It does not receive your name, your phone number, or anything you type into the quote form.
If you would rather not be counted, Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out. We do not run advertising pixels on this site.
Separately, the site keeps one small flag in your browser's session storage so the opening animation plays once instead of on every page. It holds no personal information and is cleared when you close the tab.
Things this site loads from elsewhere
- Fonts. The typeface is served by Google Fonts. To load it, your browser contacts Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
- Reviews. The reviews and customer photographs shown on this site are public Google reviews of our business, shown under the name each reviewer used on Google.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we need them to quote, schedule and do the work, and to keep ordinary business records afterwards.
Security
The quote form is sent over an encrypted connection, and we take reasonable care with what we hold. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop calling, texting or emailing you at any time.
Email aaron@seymourswindows.com or call or text (208) 581-7061.
Children
This site is for homeowners and businesses looking for a window cleaner. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this page
If what we collect or how we use it changes, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
