Two levels of service · Boise and the Treasure Valley

Gutter Cleaning

Leaves and dirt out of the gutters, and your walkways swept when we are done. Or the premium clean, where the downspouts come clear too and the whole system gets tested and washed out.

A home in the Treasure Valley

Basic service

Blown out, then swept up after

We blow your gutters out with air to remove the leaves and dirt, or do it by hand if the job needs it. When we are done, we sweep off your patio, driveway and walkway.

Here is what basic does not cover, said before you book rather than after: we do not remove or unclog your downspouts, and we do not run water through the system to test it. If the debris up there is wet and heavy, blowing it out can make a mess on your property.

None of that is a surprise we would rather you found out on the day. If any of it matters for your house, the premium service is the one to book.

Premium service

The whole system, cleared and tested

Everything comes out by hand and with water, downspouts included. Then we run the system to make sure the water actually goes where it is supposed to go, which is the part a blow out can never tell you.

Gutters and downspouts

Leaves, dirt and debris fully cleaned out by hand and with water. Downspouts included, not skipped.

Tested and washed out

We test and wash out the whole system to make sure water flows the right way.

Exteriors rinsed

If the outside of your gutters is dirty, we rinse it off while we are there.

Walkways swept

Patio, driveway and walkway swept before we leave, same as the basic clean.

Furniture put back

Any outdoor furniture we moved to get to the gutters goes back where we found it.

While we are up there

We tell you what we see

Gutters are the service our name never mentions, and they come up in review after review anyway. Some of that is thoroughness. The rest is what happens once we are on the roof: if we notice something going on with the house, we bring it up, whether or not it is in our lane.

"Aaron went above and beyond helping us see an issue on our roof that had nothing to do with the gutter cleaning ... That alone is a valuable trait in being hired to be on the roof; he's thinking bigger."

Before you book

Questions we get

Which level do I need?

If you want the leaves and dirt out and the walkways swept after, basic does that. If you want the downspouts cleared and the system actually tested, that is premium. Downspouts and water testing are not part of the basic clean.

Do you clear the downspouts?

On premium, yes: gutters and downspouts both, by hand and with water, then the whole system gets tested and washed out. On basic, no. We do not remove or unclog downspouts.

Will blowing them out make a mess?

It can. If the debris is wet and heavy, blowing it out may make a mess on your property. That is the case where the premium clean, done by hand and with water, is the better call.

Should the gutters be done before the windows?

Yes. Windows go last, so the gutters come first. Plenty of people book both: "We first got Seymour to clean the gutters which he did far more thoroughly than others. Then we had him clean our windows." Put both on the quote request and we will look at the whole house. See exterior window cleaning, or the Seymour Shine Subscription if you would rather stop thinking about the glass altogether.

How do I book?

Call, text, or send the quote request with your name, number, address and email. If the job needs eyes on it, we come look in person.

Name, number, address and email is all we need to start. Call or text if that is easier, and tell us whether you want the basic clean or the premium so the quote comes back right the first time.
